Q3DM5 In Doom 3!!!

A video I made of a map made by cinnibon. Q3DM5 from quake has finally entered doom 3.

Lol, looks like your in or around a black whole because your screen looks so stretched from the massive FOV :lol:

Other than that I can remember this map in QL and its pretty fun :o

Yes but it was a horrible conversion. Laggy as hell and the jumppads were
replaced with the elevator things. Cinnibon's will be a lot better I'm sure.

I made jump pads that worked great in my monsoon remake.

They just would need a bit more tweaking and they would be perfect.

Yea but most of the problems with doom 3 jumppads is that they go to fast
and don't hold you in the air as long which makes it very uncomfortable for
the player.

Depends on how you make the jumppads :) Force_fiels can be set to a amout of speed the use :)

I use to create my maps with jumppads, introducing them with henry sellers on the maps. But its possible to make it feel natural :)

I had in in my Cold Kingdom concept, and Ground Zero map, check map development for screens ;)

At some stage I want to get a "map pack" together to release with EMZ. I thought it would be good idea to get a few of the smaller PK4s together and combine them into one file with many maps; help get around the problem of a gazillion PK4s breaking autodownload.

I'd only want good quality, solid maps that have the original D3 feel.

wouldn't this make people less likely to download emz due to its size?

I did say "smaller" paks. And it would be an optional pack. Plus the new EMZ is WAY smaller than the current release anyway.

The EMZ+DM6=Crash Bug? Yes, the new release will fix that.
