check out this post... Tbh... IMO.. No it won't end for one simple reason... This guys son or Daughter, won't let it... simply.. the gamers will never let their arena die. Until every gamer throws their keyboard or joystick in a box and says I'm done. which I don't believe will ever happen cause we as human beings are pretty dependant on entertainment. then its staying a live forever. lol.. Even if the game developers decided to not make any more games.. there would be people who did it just for them.. so no.. never.. Goonies never say Die. Just won't happen...

sorry bro.. but "EXG ON TOP"

Yes, I was just about to point that out. I found that article too when looking for D4 info; I think the guy just picked a "catchy title". He probably had more hits since D4 was announced that it ever had in the last three years.

And maybe he hasn't noticed but people LIKE "same ol' same ol'" games. Look at xfire stats for FPS - they're all team-based army games; yes, people sure do rebel and stop buying when you present them with some familiar ;)

Valve has a different opinion
Good article, read it over at IGN a few days ago.

Nice to see someone sticking up for good old PC gaming.
