Help with new system build
Help with new system build
Current specs
CPU Name Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz
Motherboard Model SiS-651
Vid card Radeon X1650 Series 512 (AGP)
SMBIOS Version 6.00 PG
ram: 2gb DDR2
I think the reality is I need a new motherboard + processor to start with. I think with performance test 7 a benchmark score of 332 is what it gives.
The problem is if I get a new motherboard I dont think it will have an AGP slot for the vid card.
I kind of know what im doing but im not that sure on what to purchase. Its also possible ill have a new motherboard from a friend, Ill update with the specs soon.
Some help would be appreciated although I think its best to wait to se what this new motherboard is first.

You should be able to look up your motherboard by its manufactuer. Then they will have a list of procs that will work with your board. At least thats how every other company does it. In the mean time.. What kinda computer case do you have.. Is it custom.. ???? If not,, you can get your gear together, but if you wanna be uber 1337.. that gets customized to your liking too.
