They have been going back and forth between layouts, probably testing them out, and etc. They are just doing maintenence, I tried to access my subscriptions and there was a note that said site will be back 100% in a few.

Sites do this all the time. Some more often than others. Recently, as was pointed out, youtube has been doing it often to test new templates, styles, etc.
