I've seen them play Sober, jimmy, and Lateralus. BUT I HAVE TO SEE THEM PLAY 10,000 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!

(unfortunately I didn't get to catch the Opiate tour, I was too young. )

My friend saw them the night before and they played a diff song instead of The Pot so he was gutted he missed out!

Highlight of the evening was seeing them play Rosetta Stoned as all the fast vocals at the start, Maynard actually does that live, it wasn't a recording!

Was my third time seeing them and was probably the best as they have matured alot.
The older songs were tight as fu ck, watching Danny slip his stick behind his arm, grab a betaer off of the floor and then smack his gong as hard as s**t and then grab his stick out from his arm and carry on was insane.

He was also playing on a keyboard with 1 hand, stick in his teeth and playing the drums with the other.

Watching the new songs from 10,000 days was insane, you just don't realise how many parts of "guitar" that chancellor plays on the bass. Was insane to say the least.

Maynard was wearing his cowboy hat and boots and giving it riz.

All in all one amazing show, I'm sure Courtney will post up when she STOPS TAKING THE PISS OUT OF ME WHILST IM TYPING THIS AND FUCKS OFF BACK IN HER ROOM AND LEAVES ME BE!!!

He did a bit mainly to ask where people were from. When he announced one of the new songs tho he was talking lik eit had been sepeded up, hear rosetta stoned, so you couldn't understand what he was saying. then they played rosetta stoned. hehe
They're back in November I think so bring it on!

maynard kills me. i'm not sure what i got a bigger kick out of, watching tool as a whole, danny carey hammering the drums, or watching maynard "dancing" with his cowboy hat on. although i have to say i never realized just how beasty danny is and how much of a shrimp maynard is - especially when they stand next to each other lol. the rosetta stoned style jibberish he was spouting out while promoting 10,000 days was pretty freaky too. i had to reassure myself that i wasn't going nuts and hearing things lol.

that aside though, the show was pretty jaw dropping. i'd love to go see them again. hopefully in november!!!
