Well I recently purchased a POS trailer for nothin and am going to rebuild the sucka. I figured be a nice way to get me out doors. Right now im removing the lights/wires and all the random bolts so I can start sanding the frame down to get it ready for paint
Here are some before screenshots.
oh yea.. Frame is in totally great shape.. gonna need some paint and a couple planks of wood from the depot & your ready to go.. What guys might not know is trailers like this go for 500 to 800 bucks used..
& new?... well thats why you buy used.. New ones will run ya bout 2 thousand to 4k..
This should keep ya busy till Mid Auguust.. Have fun and tan a bit while the outdoors is still warm..
it's not just the place. it's the people, the waves, the water, the smell, the lifestyle, the community, the sport, the surf, the culture. people dedicate their lives to it, and seem to be a lot happier and content with their lives than anyone else i've ever met. i'm at a place where i decide to live my dream(s) or take the same path the rest of this country will.
boring? when i'm not surfing, i wish i was. when i am, i wish i could never stop.
hey man you might wanna try an auto shop near by and ask if anyone does any sand blasting. Would be a simple solution to strip it of all the paint and u would be able to take a look and see if you need to bondo or replace any areas. looks good man.
My dad works on the big KC-10 airplanes, we can use that sandblaster they got out there if we need to. The paint is falling off so it should be easy to do with a power sander.
